Hide your personal files with a password.

You can hide your files.documents and even every application into a safe hidden drive on your pc.The software creates a virtual drive on pc using your pc space of your wish.

You can also create large drives for string and hiding large files like games or videos which you don't want others to see.You can protect these drives using password so that anyone who wants to see the drive have to enter that password. It is the most convenient and easy way yo hide and encrypt your documents.


It's very simple using a program called Truecrypt.


Main Features:
 

• Creates a virtual encrypted disk within a file and mounts it as a real disk.
• Encrypts an entire partition or storage device such as USB flash drive or hard drive.
• Encrypts a partition or drive where Windows is installed (pre-boot authentication).
• Encryption is automatic, real-time (on-the-fly) and transparent.
• Parallelization and pipelining allow data to be read and written as fast as if the drive was not encrypted.
• Encryption can be hardware-accelerated on modern processors.
• Provides plausible deniability, in case an adversary forces you to reveal the password:
  Hidden volume (stenography) and hidden operating system.

   Steps:
  
  
  1) Download the Truecrypt software and install it.
  You can download it from here:
  
  
  2) Open it and  Go to volumes_Create new volume.
  
  
  3) Press Next button and again Next button.
  
  
  4) Now press Select File and choose any location on your computer where u want to store the volume file and enter any name below.
  
  
  5) Click on Next and then enter the volume size ( say in Mb or Gb) and proceed.
  
  
  6) Now you have to choose your password. Choose a strong password that is a combination of alphabets and numbers.
  
  
  7) Then click on Format button and close.
  
  
  8) Now click on Select File and Select the file which u made earlier.
  
  
  9) Click on any of the above drives (eg. G:) and then mount it.
  
  
  10) Now a drive will appear in My Computer and you can store files in it. After storing the files , just unmount it and you are done .
  
  
  11) The drive will now disappear and anyone who wants to see it have to mount it using a password.
